Ryann Johnson

Ryann supervises operations activities that benefit the entire Aquaya team around the globe. These include human resources, technology, immigration, transit, and compliance activities. She combines her nonprofit operations and legal experience to develop organizational policies while supporting individual research and program staff members. 

Prior to joining Aquaya, Ryann spent more than a decade working in operations and compliance for a financial company that serves American nonprofit organizations.

Ryann holds JD and MBA degrees from Campbell University in North Carolina and a BS in business from Virginia Tech.
