Prince Antwi-Agyei | Affiliated Expert

Prince began consulting with Aquaya in 2018, supporting sanitation studies in Ghana. He led the Ghana team investigating urban sanitation costs and low-income consumers’ willingness-to-pay in collaboration with Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor.

Prince is a lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (Sunyani, Ghana). His academic work focuses on fecal sludge management, solid waste engineering, health risk assessments, sanitation economics, wastewater management, and rural water supply. He is also a reviewer for several academic journals. Prince led the Quality Indicators of Shared Sanitation project and has served as a committee member for the Ghanian Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, helping to evaluate liquid waste management in the Accra and Tema metropolitan areas. His extensive professional experience spans numerous countries.

Prince holds a PhD in environmental sanitation and health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
